          Monday:            artist Tyroller / ZAW (recycling centre)
          Tuesday:           at school, presentation “Locality” (~ 10 minutes: using IT or
                                  “normal”)
          Wednesday:      indoor swimming pool / City-Tower / boat-trip on the
                                  Danube / dripstone cave / museum
          Thursday:          departure

  2. Year-plan 2004/05

    :          deadline February

    start with ~ 10 (pupils’) questions: “what would you like to know about your partner locality?”
    ---> try to answer until end of October;

                               Prendergast JS:    history of school, pond- or beach-studies
                               Hattingskolen:      museum, school environment
                               HS Gamlitz:         village
                               VS St. Jakob:       history of Straubing, city-tower

    ”Water”:             Prendergast JS:    sea
                               Hattingskolen:      local stream
                               HS Gamlitz:         local creek
                               VS St. Jakob:       Danube

    ”Xmas parcels”: (cards, cakes, cookies, handicrafts)
                               Xmas-song, -story, video?

    ”chat, videoconference”: Wednesday 11:00-12:00, start on November, 24th (teachers the
                               week before)

    ”Ideas”:                What about a “Festival” (to encompass all subjects and all classes) about
                               European poets, painters,
                               a “Fun Day” or a “Project Day” (visit at the local museum)?

  3. year 3

    ”final product”
    :   *) a CD-ROM with pupils’ presentations of our work (using: FirstClass as a
                               “digital library” and software like Mediator, PowerPoint, KeeBook, Word,
                               etc.)
